Do not miss any of the steps in your preparation
After being through Stage 2, the following should be done to prepare for the IELTS:
1. Prepare, read as much data as possible,
2. Try to improve your vocabulary,
3. Work on making sure your use of grammar is correct and
4. The range of grammar is sufficient.
5. Constantly take feedback from your trainer. Help from an expert can help you immensely. Once you have got feedback on your performance, please take a good note of the feedback you get. Make sure that mistakes are not repeated. From what I have seen, people tend to make the same or similar mistakes. So make sure that you take good note of the mistakes you have made.
6. Practice speaking with your teacher and also with your fellow trainees.
7. Record your speaking and work on fluency, grammar, and vocabulary. For speaking work on learning idioms and try to go through as many topics as possible, do take feedback, and work on the improvement points.
8. In this stage start studying the rest of the two sections as well. This stage may start after 2-3 weeks of stage 2.
Please note: A prevalent thought that I will start a section only after I have mastered one section can go badly against you and may cause unnecessary delay.
