People mainly exchange gifts on special occasions. Gifts are exchanged at festivals and weddings. Parents and in-laws give expensive gifts to the bride and groom at weddings, and these gifts include precious jewellery , vehicles, and cash. Sometimes people exchange presents when there is no occasion.

Sometimes I do take presents with me but not always. In our culture, whenever we visit someone for the first time, we take gifts along. The gift depends on the relationship.

I received a gift from my husband on our wedding anniversary. He gifted me a branded handbag and a box of chocolates. My husband is pretty generous and likes to present various precious items.

It is something I’m pretty big on. I’ve got a lot of liking for shopping. I like to shop offline and online. Selecting a gift for a near one is something I dote on, as it gives me a chance to visit shopping malls and check out my favourite brands. I carefully choose something only after checking plenty of items. Like every lady, I feel rejuvenated after a shopping spree.
