What are the most popular tourist attractions in your country?
India is an enormous country and has innumerable popular tourist destinations. We have hill stations, a massive coastline, beautiful beaches, serene countryside, traditional cities, ancient cities, monuments, and abundant national parks. The most popular areas, I guess, are Rajasthan and Agra. Agra is famous for Tajmahal.
How do the types of tourist attractions that younger people like to visit compare with those that younger older people like to visit?
Younger people prefer adventure trips, beaches, and hill stations. Older people, especially senior citizens, cant go on adventure trips because such trips require a lot of stamina and physical fitness that may be absent with seniors. Similarly, hill stations are not the destinations many senior citizens are comfortable visiting since one has to climb steep curves that again require high physical fitness.
Older people like to visit planes. Also, they prefer to visit religious places for pilgrimage.
Do you think some tourist attractions(e/g. national museums/galleries ) should be free to visit?
I don’t think that tourists places should be open to the public free of any charge. Even if the fee is low, there should be some charge since the only serious tourists should visit these places. However, entry for students, when they visit as a part of their school educational trips can be free since the purpose of such visits is to gain knowledge. This knowledge, in turn, helps a person and society to grow.
