The mobile phone has become almost a necessity for most of us, yet there is no denying it can cause nuisance under certain circumstances or when used in certain places. Thus, many believe that cellular phones should be forbidden in some areas. I agree with this thought, and the following parts of my essay will explain my standpoint.
First, the mobile phone has become an inseparable part of our life. Yet, these gadgets are not suitable to be used in some places or occasions. Some settings must have silence and allow people to focus. Thus, ringing a mobile phone raises eyebrows in a temple or a church, for it has been observed that some people carry their phones to places of worship and do not care to put them in silence. Others involved in worship find the use of mobiles annoying and disturbing. In addition, sometimes students carry their cellular phones in schools or colleges, and they cause a distraction for themselves and others. Thus, cellular phones must be fully banned inside educational institutes. For similar reasons, these devices must be banned in courts, and movie halls, essentially place where peace and concentration are required.
The usage of mobile phones can prove risky, even fatal when used in some places. These have been banned while driving for many years, yet there is a need to implement the rules around this issue more strictly, for safety on roads is still far from reach. In addition, there should be a ban on attending calls while crossing roads because a person can not hear the sounds made by vehicles and honking while on call.
Finally, the use of cellular phones can indeed be annoying at the least and fatal at worst when used improperly or in the wrong places. So, they must be banned in a few places, and there must be strict fines for talking on phones or checking messages.
