It is true has the whole process of teaching and learning has undergone some drastic shift due to the adoption of high-end technologies around the world. Many have started to forecast the obsoletion of conventional teaching methods in a classroom in the next three decades. I, however, feel that the further evolution of technology will continue to change the face of a current classroom along with the methods currently adopted for teaching, yet drastic changes should not be expected.
First, I believe there will be more acceptance of online teaching in the future as it saves time currently spent traveling to schools and institutions. Also, this mode of schooling can allow learners to connect with institutions and teachers of their choice in far-off places.
Secondly, there will be the management of classes, students, lessons, and scores with the help of computers. Thus, teaching methods will be supported by newer inventions. Students will also refer to the content available on various online media to complete their work and understand complicated concepts.
However, the soul of a class and the relationship between student and teacher will remain unchanged. No technology, artificial intelligence, or machine can replace a teacher, for our respected teachers will continue to guide us with their experience and wisdom. Not just this, they will also continue to extend moral support to their students. Since growing children need such support, this will not change.
To sum up, though technology will continue to impact and change the class and teaching methodologies, the essence, and spirit of teaching, as well as the sacred relationship between a teacher and their students will not undergo any considerable modification.
